
Guidelines - Call for Presentations
The Texas Council is now accepting presentation proposals for Conference Session that address the following tracks as they relate to the Community Center system of care:
Behavioral Health
Intellectual Developmental Disabilities/Early Childhood Intervention
Leadership
Substance Addiction Treatment
Wellness and Recovery
Human Resources/Workplace Wellness
Communications/Information Technology
Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health

PRESENTATIONS
Length
Presentations are 90 minutes long.
Acceptance Notifications:
Presenters will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis beginning January 2012.
Presentation Proposal Submission Deadline:
Presentation proposal submission deadline is December 5, 2011. Beyond that date, submissions are accepted on a space available basis until January 1, 2012.
SPEAKERS
Audio/Visual Equipment
The Texas Council will provide screens, podium microphone or table microphones for panels.
To keep registration rates low, we ask that breakout session speakers bring their own laptops and LCD projectors.
Additional A/V equipment is available at the presenter's expense.
Handouts
Presenters are responsible for providing hard copy handouts if they choose to make them available.
Speaker Registration Rate
Speakers attending the Texas Council Conference will need to register online at a reduced registation rate of $265. More information to follow.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Presentation proposals submitted in response to this call for presentations are subject to selection for application for continuing education credits.
Presenters whose presentations are selected for Nursing CE credits, Continuing Medical Education Credits or other continuing education credits will be notified and requested to complete any additional required forms.
