People with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with their families, strive for safe, healthy and active lives in their communities.
The Texas Council leads statewide efforts to achieve public policy and funding to:
• Increase access to home and community-based services
• Strengthen community capacity to support children and adults with complex & challenging needs
• Reshape the IDD service system to respond to individual choice and wisely use public resources
