Membership in the Texas Council

 

FULL MEMBERSHIP:

All Texas community MHMR centers organized and operated pursuant to Chapter 534 of the Texas Health and Safety Code are eligible to join the Texas Council as full members. Each full member center is entitled to be represented at all Texas Council membership meetings by one delegate who is a current trustee of the member center. A written application approved by the Texas Council Board must be submitted by centers interested in becoming full members.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:

Any governmental entity exempt under Section 115 of the Internal Revenue Code and interested in improving the Texas MHMR services delivery system is eligible for associate membership. A written application approved by the Texas Council Board must be completed by entities desiring to become associate members of the Council.


Only full and associate members in good standing which are governmental entities exempt under Section 115 of the Internal Revenue Code are entitled to the rights, services, and other benefits provided by the Texas Council and as determined by the Board of Directors.
