Fred Frese, Ph.D
Coordinator, Summit County Ohio Recovery Project

Despite being diagnosed with Schizophrenia over thirty years ago as a young marine, Dr. Frese earned a graduate degree in International Business Management, a Masters and Doctorate in Psychology and has had a distinguished career as a clinical psychologist, educator, speaker, husband and father. He has published numerous articles and is associated with the publications: Schizophrenia Bulletin; Psychiatric Rehabilitation; and Psychiatric Services. His story has beenfeatured on CNN Healthweek and in the Wall Street Journal and he has a long-running affiliation with NAMI where he has served on the Board. He has also served on committees for the National Institute of Mental Health and the Veterans Administration. Dr. Frese speaks of coping and recovery from personal experience.

Al Condeluci, Ph.D.

Dr. Condeluci is a national leader and consultant on human services and community issues. His books and speaking engagements have been a catalyst for building community capacities and understanding culture since the 1970’s. His most recent book (2005), Together Is Better, encapsulates his message of inclusion and interdependence. Dr. Condeluci will team-up with Jim McDermott, Ph.D., MHMR of Tarrant County CEO and several Tarrant County leaders to bring to life our Conference theme, A Celebration of Partnerships.

Jim McDermott, Ph.D., MHMR of Tarrant County CEO and Patsy Thomas, Executive Director of Mental Health Connection of Tarrant County will join Dr.Condeluci. Mental Health Connection is a collaboration of public and private agencies working with advocates to revolutionize services. The joint presentation will bring to life our Conference theme, ‘A Celebration of Partnerships’.
Chuck Ingoglia, MSW
Vice President, Public Policy and Technical Assistance, National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare

Mr. Ingoglia has over 15 years experience in behavioral healthcare, working as a provider, advocate and educator for government and public sector organizations at the national and local levels.
John Agosta, Ph.D.
Vice President and Senior Policy Advisor
Human Services Research Institute (HSRI)
Dr. Agosta has conducted analyses of state systems for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, studying trends in supported employment, family supports, self-advocacy, Medicaid funding and self-directed supports. Dr. Agosta recently completed a study of selected aspects of the Texas Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities system at the request of the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities and is familiar with the Texas system and how it compares to other states. Prior to joining HSRI, Dr. Agosta worked in direct service and administrative positions in a variety of agencies offering early intervention, residential, vocational and family support services.
